Works well

Pros:
- Call redirect works perfectly fine for 3 numbers (US, Canada local and toll free)
- No late calls anymore - I set up separate voice greeting for non working hours
- Incoming calls workflow is flexible enough

Cons:
- their iphone app has less features that web app, so you can configure calls flow only from web app.

MightyCall, previously known as Infratel, is a technology company founded in 1999 and based in Seattle. They offer cloud communications solutions to small businesses and cover matters of the phone, email, and social media with VoIP cloud-based technology. Unlike most hosted-PBX companies, MightyCall offers almost entirely software-based service to the end-user. Also unique to MightyCall, is that their plans are catered towards medium to smaller businesses. Even their most expensive package is equivalent to the mid-tiered plans of most other service providers.

The most basic monthly plan that MightyCall offers is their Premium package which includes one local or toll-free number from anywhere in Canada/USA (with choice of area code), 300 minutes of incoming and outgoing calls, free number porting, international calling for a low rate, and all of the features with the exclusion of call queuing, SMS texting, and call recording, all for the price of $19.99 USD/month. For a small business, this may be a reasonable plan, but at 300 minutes for both incoming and outgoing calls, there isn't much room for growth.

Compounding to this is how even if a customer calls and it goes to voicemail, minutes are still deducted. Compared to a similarly priced plan from RingCentral, you receive unlimited US/CA calling. You can always upgrade to Mightycall's next best plan which gives you 10x more minutes to use at twice the monthly rate if you need more than the basics. Regardless of which package you choose, you are allowed unlimited extensions and are not bound by any contracts. You can choose a monthly or annual renewal, and there is no cancellation or setup fee. You also have the option to purchase additional local numbers for an extra $5 USD a month, or an international number for $10 USD a month, and call recording for an extra $15 USD.

Above all, one of the best benefits of MightyCall is that you don't require any additional hardware to use their services. You only require a headset or speakers to use with their WebPhone section on their website, accessible through any browser. Or if you prefer mobility, you can download their mobile app. The Android/iOS app allows you to manage your inbound requests from customers, organize and track your employees and call with your business number, all from the convenience of your mobile device. You are also able to consolidate all of your social network accounts in the Social Media Tracker, allowing you and your team to respond immediately to any messages on Facebook or Twitter.

MightyCall undeniably has a better grasp of the virtual side of the business and gives its customers the freedom to harness the full power of the internet. For smaller to medium businesses, this might be a good fit for all of your needs, but if the growth of your business is in your immediate future, there are more sensible alternatives out there.

Now get 50% OFF the first month. Use coupon code gonevoip_1m50. So making it only $14.99 for the first month then is the regular price of $29.99 per month.

How You Can Grow Your Small Business with Virtual Numbers

A wise Pennsylvania regional manager for a paper company once said that “Paper is the soil in which the seeds of business grow,” but we’d make a slight adjustment: “a virtual phone number is a soil in which the seeds of business grow.” Not that we’d presuppose that we are smarter than our certain regional manager, but the important role that a virtual phone number can play in growing your business is tragically overlooked by many small business owners. Your

The magic of toll-free numbers

When I was a kid my mother used to say “magical, magical, magical, poof” before doing a simple magic trick. As a child, I had no knowledge that you could not literally pull rabbits out of hats, so I was amazed, assuming that “magical, magical, poof” was some sort of whimsical phrase which could actually make magic happen. As an adult, I, unfortunately, know that I was a bit mistaken -- phrases can’t make magic happen. But with an 855 area

Managing the Small Business Roller Coaster with Call Recording Technology

Running and operating a small business is a lot like riding a rollercoaster. Oftentimes, things start slow: a lot of clicking and clacking as you steadily get higher and higher off of the ground, rising, and then suddenly…BAM. A fall, another rise, twists, and turns; sometimes you might feel ill, and sometimes the chaos may make you feel a little bit dizzy (though admittedly, unlike when riding a roller coaster, you’ll hopefully never end up upside down). Now, all of

Living in a Virtual World: The Benefits of Building Your Business Around a Virtual Phone Number

Paul Krugman, the Nobel Prize-winning economist, famously (or should we say, infamously) declared in 1998 that the internet would have an effect on the world economy which would ultimately be “no greater than a fax machine’s.” A little over twenty years later, we can safely say this is not the case (and hey, we all make mistakes- even Nobel Prize-winning economists). Since that time, businesses have increasingly transitioned to the digital space. Hungry people place orders for pizza delivery using apps

Toronto Phone Numbers

There are tons of options when getting phone numbers. This was already a fact when the internet was young, but now that we are about a fifth of the way into the twenty-first century, it has become exacerbated by globalization and the slow melting of international borders. Deciding how to pick what is best for your small business is difficult, especially in a metropolis like Toronto. You have to weigh so many different (and sometimes competing) needs and factors: price, type

Canada VoIP Market Trends 2019-2024

The communications continue to evolve,  and as such so does the adoption of VoIP (Voice over IP). It is estimated the market will grow to dominate cloud communications, workforce mobility, and unified telecommunications. By 2025 the VoIP market will hit USD $55 billion with the North American Market getting the lion share of 40%. How did VoIP get to this point? On one side you have the traditional Telecom providers, think Rogers or Bell. With predatory contracts and billing practices that defy

Business Phone Evolution – Part 2

Will Mobile VoIP take over? We all agree that the industry has changed and it is very apparent that a Cloud PBX solution with surrounding services is replacing legacy onsite PBX or stock Business Phones.  Aside from this shift in investment, more and more features are being enabled and included in the desktop phone and softphone applications. Likely before VoIP was a serious conversation at your organization, mobile phones were used in business communications first for key executives, managers, salespersons, and remote

Business Phone Evolution – Part 1

Perhaps you were expecting it, or maybe it was a surprise. Your long time and large Business Phone Service Provider (like Bell, Rogers or Shaw, etc.) notify you that a substantial rate hike on the upcoming contract renewal of your legacy business lines. The reality is that many of the analog voice clients have left their expensive infrastructure. Now the costs are spread across those legacy lines that remain. Given your loyalty and history with your large providers on Data, Voice,

Why MightyCall is the #1 VoIP for Canadians

Canada is a diverse, twenty-first-century nation, with a twenty-first-century economy to boot. And not only does Canada have a twenty-first-century economy- it has a small business economy. Small businesses in Canada are the overwhelming majority of businesses; in fact, according to the Canadian government, they’re close to ninety-eight percent of all businesses in Canada!! Of those, over half (about fifty-five percent, also according to the Canadian government) are businesses with only four employees or less. When you further add in medium-sized businesses
