OTA TV: Subscription Less

Having grown up in an era where cable TV was the best post-dinner pastime for families, living in a household without cable TV seemed impossible. Yet, here I am today, proudly announcing that I have been “cord-free” for the past 6 years. The best part of cutting my cable TV is that I have saved over $4,000 so far. I will explain how I did it below.

Netflix Without Borders

Netflix has started to block users from accessing out-of-country versions of their accounts. This may come as a scare to Canadians who regularly tap into the US version of Netflix to access a larger variety of content. This action comes on the heels of Netflix’s big announcement that it will be expanding services to over 160 countries.
