Reply to:	CIK Telecom Inc I was a happy CIK customer for a year until last December and in fact I had referred several of my friends to them without asking for the referral bonus. My VOIP home phone had numerous problems since last December after I renewed a one-year contract with them in last November. Maybe they want me to cancel my contract so that they can make more money from the cancellation fee instead of providing decent service. I emailed and phoned them numerous times and they gave me all kind of excuses such as their system were under maintenance, they cannot guarantee that VOIP phone will work all the time, might be my cordless phones had problems, might be the other phone companies had problems...etc. Instead of solving the problems, they created more problems instead. In additional to all the problems I had (when somebody called me, they got the busy signals when I was not using my phone; I could not make phone call; when I answer a phone call, I got the busy signal right away; I could not hear the other party; the other party could not hear me; the calls would ended abruptly by itselfetc.....) Now all the calls I received is treated as missing calls (they asked me to bring my phone to their office to be checked) and they once changed my phone number to 999-422-XXXX that was displayed on the other side until I called them to corrected that problem; that made some of my friends did not answer my call because they did not know that number and I could not make some toll free numbers because of the 999 area code. Over 5 months later, they kept giving me more problems and excuses and I am fed up and I will stop paying them and cancel the contract.
