Do not deal with this company

Sales team promised internet service. Credit card was charged $508.50 for installation, then they cancelled the plan. One year later there has still not been a refund of my money despite numerous calls and emails. Do not pay this company until they deliver service.

They're better options out there

This is not a review for Allcore's retail products, but I believe my expiration translates. I ordered connections for resale, but after testing the connection, and before bell installed the dry-loops, I decided to cancel the services. Unfortunately, I received no refund from the company, not a penny. If you need (an) internet connection(s), go with Teksavvy or Storm.

Allcore Communications was established in 1997. Their HQ is in Hamilton, Ontario.  AllCore is a web-hosting company first – but they do also provide ISP and phone services.

Allcore offers unlimited residential DSL at $39.95 per month. There are no contracts. You receive 6 Mbps download speeds and 1 Mbps upload speeds. The activation fee is $50 and if you own your own modem, then you do not need to rent or purchase one from Allcore.

Allcore also offers residential wireless service starting at the same rate of $39.95. This comes with the same specs as the residential DSL. They also have four separate FttN packages ranging in price from $42.99 to $99.99. If you are looking for high speeds, then you may want to consider the FTTN packages which are more expensive but pack a lot of extra zip in the speed department.

They list the FTTN 25-10 as their most popular FTTN option. It comes in at $89.99 per month with no bandwidth limits and 25 Mbps download speeds to go along with 10 Mbps upload speeds. There is also no Port filtering with these options. For $10 more, you can get their fastest speed available which is 50 Mbps download speed. If speed is important but not $90 important, then they also have the FFTN which comes in at $42.99 per month and give you 10 Mbps download speeds and 1 Mbps upload speeds.

Allcore also advertises not only their unlimited service but a lot of security bells and whistles. Spam protection, virtually virus-free internet access and secure cloud backups are all prominently advertised on their site. They offer real-time virus scanning of all internet traffic at no additional charge.

We like that when we called them we got through right away to a sales associate who answered our questions for us.

We also really like Allcore’s residential DSL plan for $39.95. With full unlimited data usage (with no caps) and only a $50 activation fee, Allcore is comparable but slightly more expensive to Gonevoips’ top three internet service providers: Altima Telecom ($29.95 with $0 setup fees), Heronet ($27.99 with $10 activation fees) and Distributel ($29.95 with $8.95 activation fees). If extra security features are important to you, then Allcore may be worth exploring further.
