Worst experience ever

Omg! Worst customer service ever! Paid for service and the modem. Then was told we don't know when you're service will be hooked up as we rent our lines from Cogeco. They gave me a modem that didn't work with my laptop. Finally got fed up and went with bell. Asked for refund. Then was told" we'll call you when we have a check ready for you" asked why when I paid debit that the money could not be put back on my debit. I was told we just don't do it that way

Decent internet at a good price

Overall a very reliable ISP at a good price. I've had very little connection problems. You can also add unlimited to any of their plans for an extra 20$ or so

Review from Canadianisp.ca

I attempted to acquire service from Vaxxine.com, http://web.vaxxine.com/ and was given a scheduled date for activation July-23-2013. Vaxxine requires 2 bell contractors to perform activation One from a company called Telcom or Telecon and the other by bell Canada. When the date came a bell tech came to my door and stated that my DSL has been activated. He had not touched my demarcation box. I asked him to show his identification and he took off without showing ID. I reported this to the manager of Vaxxine.com Margret Gulic. Later Margret informed me no work was performed and that it would have to be rescheduled. I agreed, and when that date came a person from telecom was only there to install cable. I told him I already have cable installed directly from my demarcation to my MODEM and what purpose does he serve. He responded that he would serve no purpose and left. I then waited for bell and no tech showed to activate the service.

Vaxxine web site show 19 years of service and yet the manager Margret Gulic did not know what the function of telecom will be performing and was unconcerned that a scheduled appointment by bell was missed not once but twice. Also in the emails with Margret she referred to the second bell contract as Telcom the ID presented to me when the non essential person came was Telecon. A pretty big mistake . I terminated service as Vaxxine is clearly not able to co-ordinate installation with bell.

Vaxxine is a telecommunications provider based out of St. Catherines which serves southwestern Ontario. Some services they provide include phone service, internet service, web development, domain names, and web hosting.

For GoneVoiP's review of Vaxxine, we will concentrate on their home internet service and see how it stacks up with some of Gonevoip’s top three internet service providers.

All DSL plans come with the option to make them unlimited, you guessed right, for additional costs.

  • Cable 15: 15 Mbps Down, 200 GB Usage at $39.95
  • Cable 40: 40 Mbps Down, 250 GB Usage at $49.95
  • Cable 60: 60 Mbps Down, 300 GB Usage at $54.95
  • Cable 120: 120 Mbps Down, 350 GB Usage at $74.95
  • DSL 6: 6 Mbps Down, 175 GB Usage at $33.95
  • DSL 7: 7 Mbps Down, 175 GB Usage at $35.95
  • DSL 10: 10 Mbps Down, 200 GB Usage at $39.95
  • DSL 15: 15 Mbps Down, 225 GB Usage at $43.95
  • DSL 25: 25 Mbps Down, 250 GB Usage at $55.95
  • DSL 50: 50 Mbps Down, 300 GB Usage at $65.95

Vaxxine Home internet plans do not specify download and upload speeds, but rather state overall speeds. This makes it hard to accurately judge if both download and upload speeds are the same or if they are only referring to download speeds or if they are averaging download and speeds together. Needless to say, it is never a good sign when an internet service provider doesn’t provide full details on speeds offered.

Beyond the lack of clarity on speeds, Vaxxine also offers a plethora of one-time cable and DSL costs. The cable modem is $89.95 before taxes. The DSL modem is $69.95. The router is $39.95 for either DSL or cable. Then there are cable activation fees that vary depending on whether you are a Cogeco cable customer or not. Did we mention a $10 monthly dry loop and static IP charges? The list goes on and on.

In GoneVoIP's review of Vaxxine Home Internet, we are left with a mixed bag off sensations about the overall plans. Many of which are slightly more expensive and without offering much. More so when you consider all of the additional fees and one-time costs, any savings will be crushed away. Therefore we can't recommend Vaxxine.

I have been with Vaxxine for many years... My email Inbox on my iPhone 12 and all previous iPhones, keep receiving old emails after I have received them once already... this usually happens within 24 hours or 7 days, and can give me anything from 6 aged emails up, on a regular basis. Today I received 235 previous emails... not a happy camper, then after removing all the emails I received an additional 80 - 100 messages. Does anyone else experience this issue? P>S> The rest of there service has been fine, but now I'm undecided on renewal (Jan/2022)... HELP ... It only happens on my iPhone not on my Mac Laptop.
