Iristel is a VoIP Provider headquartered in Toronto, ON. Iristel was established in 1999 and has the CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier). Iristel differentiates from other providers in that Iristel maintains and owns a VoIP telecommunications network, with countrywide coverage presence in Canada and has distributed points of presence around the world. The business segments for Iristel are, Residential, Business, Wholesale, B2B. For Iristel business (or enterprise) offers we found Iristel normal business service plan and Iristel hosted PBX to be more expensive and generally laking some of the latest features when compared to RingCentral or Versature.
With that said, Iristel PBX Standard PAckage does offer overall good features (over 40 of them!) that business has come to expect, it is based on Broadsoft's BroadWorks PBX - which gives a scalable and reliable platform to work with. Includes calling to Canada and the USA, for $23 / monthly. Though some of the pricing is a bit odd, with many 'extras' that other providers bake-in.
