Excellent Service from Day 1

I have been with Coextro as my internet provider since 2019, and couldn't be happier. For the first time since then, I have noticed some connection problems over the last week, and in a very informative discussion with their Tech Support it was determined that my modem and router need upgrading (which I had rather suspected). They couldn't make it any easier for me, by ordering new equipment, at a nominal deposit and shipping fee, and I should be in great shape again in just a few days. I couldn't be happier with the company and recommend them to anyone!

Service is good.

So download is within about 80-90% of plan usually with upload at 95-100%.

Tech support is just OK. Do NOT buy it for TV as the service is very spotty and even if you call for support you get the blow-off, like its someone else's fault AND problem.
Contact details are intentionally vague as I don't want to change again and note Management likes to get right into reviews and explain away opinions.

Coextro now has mobile plan too. In your experience, what do you think their mobile plan stability will be?

Excellent customer service

Today, I was having issues connecting to the internet and I went online to the manufacturer's website for teh router and used online chat for help. After about 30 minutes I was almost in tears as the person I was talking to wasn't helping, didn't seem to know how to fix the issue, was being rude and so I called coextro. The customer service rep, Andrew was amazing. He was patient, thoroughly explained the steps we went through, knew how to fix the problem right away and was just nice to me. You have a great sales rep Coextro!

Promo Plan Speeds

Download: 75 Mbps

Upload: 10 Mbps

Coextro was founded in 2012 and has been offering fiber internet services ever since then. Coextro offers high-speed internet plans without any usage caps for apartments, condos, and hotels. Due to the relatively recent conception, Coextro boasts a modest taskforce.

Coextro offers telephone and television services apart from the Condo internet plans and has now gained a rather concrete footing in the world of telecommunications.

Let us now review one of Coextro’s prominent Condo Internet plans to see how they match up against their contenders.

So the latest Coextro residential internet offers include;

  • 1000 Mbps Down, 30 Mbps Up for $89.95 per month
  • 500 Mbps Down, 30 Mbps Up for $84.95 per month
  • 300 Mbps Down, 20 Mbps Up for $79.95 per month
  • 75 Mbps Down, 10 Mbps Up for $58.95 per month

The amount of speed being offered and the price point is offered at is on point, to say the least. Another internet service provider that operates strictly in condos, apartments, and hotels is FibreStream. They offer their 100 Mbps plan which is also unlimited for $50.00 per month. The difference of speed may not seem like much. But for a home with everyone online, it certainly adds up!

Suffice to say Coextro branched out of Condos and is extending footprint with Cable Internet plans for residential customers. For an example of the Cable speeds, the most current and cheapest Coextro Cable Internet offer is Cable 75 for $29.95/month for the first two months, then is $54.95 per month. This promotion gives you a better than modest 75 Mbps download and an upload speed of 10 Mbps with unlimited usage. May sound too little of a price for the speed for some, but you better check if this addresses your needs. GoneVoIP wrote a very nice article, A good Internet Speed this shall be the guide to help determine the best internet plan for your needs.

Coextro also offers free installation, and one thing we always like to hear; no contracts! No contracts mean no hassle, and when customers don’t feel like they will be bound, they are more susceptive to buy. Also to consider Coextro has an Internet Acceptable Use Policy, in where Coextro reserves the right to take action, such as monitor and/or suspend account found violating the policy.

The only disappointing thing about Coextro Internet is there are no symmetrical speeds in the residential offers. Though understandably so, since it depends on what Rogers or Cogeco avail to them. Symmetrical speeds, meaning equal Download and Upload speeds, are feasible with Fiber. Though Bell, who holds the largest Fiber footprint in Canada doesn't seem too eager to open the service to independent ISP, such as Coextro. So this won’t be coming to your home anytime soon.

In all honesty, Coextro beats the competition in both pricing and quality. We are just disheartened that symmetrical speeds and prices like these can’t be provided in homes! Coextro is a prime example of an internet service provider offering reasonable pricing for the above-average service to win the hearts of its customers.

Canada’s Internet Speeds and Prices

Types of internet access providers Last summer we set out to analyze the status of the home internet connection speeds across the country. We picked fourteen representative major urban centers and analyzed factors such as maximum available download speed, average speed, and average monthly pricing. This analysis shows some very interesting facts, for example, while Albertans are expected to pay less for gas than, say, Ontarians. However, on average Albertans will be paying some $7 more than Ontarians per month for equivalent internet
