BTN is a small/start-up VoIP Provider, essentially re-selling Telco2go services. Oddly we could not check where BTN is located nor get a contact phone number or even a form to contact them.
Now let's review, with very low expectations, BTN's Home Phone packages. There are three Home Phone plans available.
The Canada Wide plan offers 'unlimited minutes' of free calling to Canadian cities and it does have some of the usual VoIP options with the support of BYOD. though the support is rather limited and taxed, limited because it only supports the Linksys PAP2T and if the user happens to own one there's an activation fee charged. Also, the monthly rate of $14.95 is rather one of the most expensive.
The next plan is the Canada+US, the same features with unlimited calling coming at $19.95 a month.
The final plan we'd like to mention is the Global Calling, the same features with reportedly unlimited calling coming at $29.95 a month.
It is hard to determine if the claim of unlimited calling is truly unlimited as we could not check the Terms and Services. It is very common for providers to have a Fair Usage Policy is where you find the limits of "unlimited" advertising.
Ultimately more features and a bit more rich and flexible plans with the top choices for about the same monthly offer cost (or lower) are found with Phone Power or VoIP Much.
