Still waiting for service.

Just had a failed third attempt to have service installed. First try they scheduled the day wrong and showed up before I even owned the proptery. Second time no show, no call. Third time no show, no call.

Don't waste your time. The packages may be appealing but you'll never actually have the service.

AEBC internet has been around for over two decades now having been founded back in 1991. Their headquarters can be found at 970 Burrard St. Floor B Vancouver, British Columbia V6Z 2R4 Canada. AEBC attributes its success and growth to providing quality customer support, economical pricing and advanced technology.

AEBC provides DSL and fibre internet and a VoIP service to its customers. They are also a licensed carrier with the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC). AEBC also provides e-commerce clients with software support and the usage of advanced administration on a global basis. However, our key focus is to review the most economical residential internet plan that AEBC has to offer.

AEBC offers the High-Speed Cable Internet Plan which provides customers with an upload speed of 5 mbps, a download speed of 30 mbps, and no cap on their usage. In most residential use scenarios unlimited bandwidth is always appreciated. Considering that most customers aren’t even aware of how much bandwidth they consume each month by using services like Netflix or CraveTV. Regardless of that fact, this plan is priced at a total of $39.95 per month which seems to be a very reasonable price. For example, if this plan was compared with the 6 mbps plan of Distributel which is also priced at $29.95 per month and also has a cap of 60 GBs per month we would find that AEBC definitely comes out on top. The Cable High-Speed Internet plan of AEBC can be attained on a non-contract basis which is also another great incentive for customers not looking to be bound by anything.

Upon reviewing the terms and conditions policy of AEBC we noticed that sudden termination of service can be done if AEBC decides that a specific user is consuming too much bandwidth. The limit, however, is not specified within this agreement. The fact of the matter is that AEBC’s unlimited package is actually not truly unlimited.

The website did not provide any extra charges such as dry loop fees, or installation fees, or whether or not there is an added service fee. Furthermore, no mention of additional static IP’s was made, and whether or not the user would be provided with anti-spam and virus protection.

It can be said without a doubt that the pricing on AEBC’s 30 mbps plan is really good; ho, ever there are many other options that are much more viable. Furthermore there is a need for AEBC to be upfront and straightforward with any additional pricing that it may charge the customer, which it fails to mention on numerous levels.
