Zip Telecom is HQ in Toronto, ON. Established in 2008 as the Telecom arm of Bluewire Computer Services. Zip Telecom caters services to SOHO and medium-size businesses and enterprises. Zip Telecom also offers to sell office phones, having the usual Aastra, Snom & Polycom brands. Zip Telecom solution is a hosted PBX solution, so no expensive HW on-premises is required. Pricing plans start to go down as you add more lines.
Though in comparison to RingCentral Zip Telecom doesn't have as many rich features (such as smartphone app, business SMS, CRM integrations like SalesForce, internet fax, etc..) and if pricing per line is to be considered then RingCentral is cheaper alternatives. Also may want to consider net2phone, VoIP Much or Stratovox as well.
Note Zip Telecom, also known as Ziptel, has many available add-on options but these are a cost added to the monthly per-line cost.
