Vocalocity Reviews & Service Offerings
|Monthly Fee||Setup Fee||Other Fees||Long Distance Rates|
Vocalocity is a business VoIP provider established in 2006 HQ in Atlanta, GA. In November of 2013 Vocalocity was acquired by Vonage. Today Vocalocity continues to operate under its own brand though is part of Vonage Business Solutions. Time will tell if Vocalocity keeps its name for much longer.
In our Vocalocity review we found it to have very good, convenient plans and pricing. It does include many of the features we consider essential, such as mobile app, multiple devices in one extension and call screening to name a few. With that said, if your business does many international calls you may need to look for an additional service from some Long Distance provider, as the calling rates are one of the most expensive we have seen. Perhaps a side effect of the merger with Vonage.
Vocalocity does offer neat integration point such as Unified Inbox, so all your fax, email and voicemails can be in one common place. This goes along with Outlook integration, which allows to easily integrate contacts and calling features from within Outlook.
In all we believe Vocalocity does have a very good alternative, remains to be seen what changes and if any are bring about by Vonage's takeover.
