True Speed is a telecommunications provider with a focus on both residential and business phone VoIP services as well as Internet options. The company’s motto is “Let’s Get Connected”.

True Speed has headquarters in Brockville, Ontario, Canada.

For this review, GoneVoip will look at True Speed’s business VoIP and other telecommunication services designed specifically for businesses.

True Speed offers a business phone option which comes in at $32.95 with no contract or bundling options. This plan includes 14 features at that price. If you bundle with the Internet and sign a three-year contract the price drops down to $24.95.  As with the residential VoIP, very little is listed on long-distance rates or other fees.

True Speed also offers three business Internet options: The True Cable Business 15, the True Cable Business 40 and the True Cable Business 60.

The Truce Cable Business 15 comes in at $44.95 per month and includes download speeds of up to 15 MBPS and upload speeds of up to 2 MBPS. This package includes unlimited data.

The True Cable Business 40 is $69.95 per month with download speeds of up to 40 MBPS and upload speeds of up to 10 MBPS. This package includes unlimited data.

The True Cable Business 60 is the most expensive of the cable business plans at $94.95 per month. Included in this plan is unlimited data, upload speeds of up to 10 MBPS and download speeds of up to 60 MBPS.

These prices are only valid with the signing of a three-year contract. You can add roughly $10 per month for customers only signing one-year contracts and roughly $20 per month for customers who wish to have no contract.

True Speed also offers one DSL package and three FTTN packages.

The True DSL Business 6 costs $49.95 per month and includes unlimited data with download speeds of up to 6 MBPS and upload speeds of up to 800 KBPS. This price is valid for only those who sign a three-year contract. For a 1-year commitment, the price increases to $54.95 and with no commitment it goes up to $59.95.

There are also four FTTN packages: The True FTTN Business 10, the True FTTN Business 16, the True FTTN Business 25 and the True FTTN Business 50. These range in price from $49.95 to $79.95 (again prices are only valid with three-year contracts).

In our review of True Speed’s business packages, much like their residential Internet (and unlike their residential VoIP), True Speed offers an eclectic variety of options for a business. All businesses have different needs so the fact that they offer such a variety is a huge bonus. However, if a business isn’t looking for a three-year commitment, the value isn’t quite there. Even with a  three-year contract, we still recommend that you check out GoneVoip’s top three business VoIP providers for comparison.
