Service didn't work as customer wanted, so once they returned their modem/router unit, we gave them a full refund.
Not sure why they posted a negative comment before returning equipment?

TamcoTec is a relatively new internet service provider in Canada and not much is known about them or their history. Their headquarters can be found at 6021 Yonge Street, Suite: 412, Toronto, Ontario, M2M-3W2.
The plans that TamcoTec offers are well laid out in terms of specifications of various types of customers. They offer a variety of services, ranging from DSL internet, Cable internet, and VoIP solutions. Their website is concise and to the point, however to our dismay, there were no terms and conditions policy available. Several attempts were made to gain access to TamcoTec’s terms and conditions policy, but it is only provided to customers who are ready to opt for their service.
Let us now review TamcoTec’s top DSL plan. TamcoTec offers a DSL plan that has a download speed of up to 50 Mbps and an upload speed of up to 10 Mbps. This plan has unlimited usage per month which we believe is quite generous. The plan totals out to $69.00 per month which we consider aligned with Altima's 50 Mbps DSL plan, which has the same download and upload speeds of up to 6 Mbps and 1 Mbps respectively and has an unlimited usage at only $40 per month.
However, a thorough review of their rather small website showed us that there is no overage usage or terms of service at this time to be offered.
Furthermore, there is a dry loop fee of $10.00 per month for customers who do not have an active landline. The initial installation cost of $100.00 seems a bit much, but this is a Bell DSL line so costs may be dictated by Bell and not Tamco. If a customer wants to change plans while sticking to the TamcoTec service, they would have to pay an extra $25.00 on their next bill. The only upside to additional charges that we noticed was that there is no initial setup fee for this plan.
TamcoTec offers a plan that has a lot of potentials; however, the price tag on this DSL plan is what essentially kills it. One has to wonder why even offer DSL plans with such costs? Many other internet service providers offer the same and more at cheaper prices then TamcoTec. There is also a lack of information and the overall website design key in today's world needs to be updated in style and content!
