SkyChoice is a very young internet service provider having been founded in 2014. Their headquarters can be found at 505B Pinegrove Rd, Oakville, ON, L6K 2C2. Due to the fact SkyChoice is relatively new on the market, not much is known about them, and they do not have much history. However, they do pride themselves on providing “cost efficient” internet which can solve problems for any variety of customers.

SkyChoice has been known to offer promotions to students to provide them with feasible internet so they can complete assignments while not being burdened by an excessive bill.

SkyChoice has a variety of internet packages, however, we will review their “Lite 6” DSL plan. The SkyChoice Lite 6 DSL plan comes with a download speed of 6 mbps and an upload speed of 0.8 mbps. The usage cap for this plan is 150 GBs per month which in our opinion is a very generous amount. This plan costs a total of $24.99 per month with an activation fee of $49.99. The pricing on this plan is extremely impressive considering not many providers come close to offering such a large cap with such a low price. For example Yak offers a 6 mbps plan with a usage cap of 60 GBs for $29.95 per month! Not only is the cap smaller, the price is also greater! SkyChoice may well be a new contender on the internet market, but they certainly know how to gain customers!

SkyChoice implements an overage charge of $0.50 per GB, which is relatively consistent with what other providers offer. However, SkyChoice also offers an unlimited usage time between 2 am to 8 am which is a great incentive added on with the very large usage cap they provide.

The dry loop fees are $5.00 a month with an added onetime fee of $15.00 for the setup. This is required only for users who do not have a working landline, and in this day and age, most users do already have a phone line. Even if one doesn’t the price goes up to $29.99 per month which is still completely acceptable considering the substantial usage cap they provide.

SkyChoice made all the right decisions when it came to planning the pricing for their internet bundles. Not only are they extremely economical, but they also go above and beyond by offering unlimited usage time! If you’re looking for an internet service provider, SkyChoice is definitely a provider you should look into!
