Sinterix is a Canadian telecommunications provider which services Ontario and Quebec. Their HQ are in Toronto, Ontario.

Sinterix focuses on high-speed Internet, phone services, IPTV and VOIP services.

In our review of Sinterix, we will look at their high-speed Internet service and see how it compares with GoneVoip’s top Internet providers.

Sinterix offers six different types of Internet plans and two different types of models for them – one monthly and one on a six-month prepaid option. They also are separated again by provincial pricing between Ontario and Quebec.

The first plan is the 7MBPS Plan and it is priced at $19.95 per month. While this seems like a great price, it is only a promotional offer for the first month, after which it goes back to regular prices. However, the regular price is not listed on the website anywhere.

As the 7 MBPS name suggests, it comes with download speeds of up to 7 MBPS and upload speeds of up to 1 MBPS. This is an unlimited plan and includes free dry loop and a 30-day money back option. This plan is available for $39.95 per month if you do the six-month prepaid option, which amounts to $209.70.

The second plan is the 15 MBOS plan and it features download speeds of up to 15 MBPS and upload speeds of up to 10 MBPS. This plan checks in at $39.95 per month or $36.95 per month on the six month prepaid plan for a total of $221.70.

The 25 MBPS plan is $44.95 per month or $41.95 per month ($251.70 six month total) and features 25 MBPS download speeds and upload speeds of up to 10 MBPS.

The 50 MBPS comes in at $54.95 per month or $49.95 ($299.70 on the six-month plan). This plan comes with download speeds of up to 50 MBPS and upload speeds of up to 10 MBPS.

The 60 MBPS plan is $59.95 per month or $54.95 ($329.70 on the six-month prepaid option). This has download speeds of up to 60 MBPS and the same 10 MBPS upload speeds.

Finally, the 100 MBPS is $69.95 per month or $64.95 per month on the six-month pre-paid option ($389.70).

Internet modems are $99.95 to purchase or $4.95 per month to rent. There is also a $49.95 set-up charge.

All of the Quebec plans are about $3 more expensive in all instances.

In our review of Sinterix, we always love companies that offer a wide variety of options to fit everybody’s different needs. We think the real value comes in when you utilize the six-month pre-paid option. While that is a big commitment to go into blindly, they offer the service for one month at a promotional cost of $19.95. Assuming you like the service, you then can find the right six-month pre-paid option for you. In that scenario, Sinterix’s value is truly shown. Having said that, the set-up fees and modem costs make it only worthwhile as a long-term option.
