God Awful InternetInternet goes completely down more often than it reaches 10 Mbps download speeds, even though it was advertised to be 10-25 Mbps. Upload speeds rarely exceed 1 Mbps, so don't think about trying any kind of online gaming. The connection is typically ok during daylight hours, then slows down around dinner, and then completely shuts down every night around 9pm. Have confirmed with Silo that they have an issue with one of their Huawei towers which requires a "software update to identify the noise in the system". Not sure if I'm supposed to know what that means. First identified the problem and contacted Silo in late September 2019. They told me at this time that they were hoping to have the problem resolved by November 1st. It is now February 20 with little to no update from Silo on the issue. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. |

Great receptionI subscribed to silo Wireless as no other internet service available in my area to my satisfaction. Easy set up once it was determined reception was good. A small issue with telephone was repaired fairly quickly with the helpful and patient technicians. Long distance included in monthly charges are a great perk - I would definitely recommend if available. |

Honest people, good serviceI've had Silo for a few years and have found their service to be more reliable than any of the other rural providers I've tried before. Also their staff is friendly and always willing to go the extra mile when a problem does crop up. |

Silo Wireless is a telecommunications company that was founded in 2007. Silo Wireless provides wireless high-speed internet in Ontario, with its main focal points being Brant, Norfolk, and Oxford counties. Silo headquarters are in Brantford, Ontario.
Silo Wireless was acaquired by Xplornet.
Silo’s website lists their primary mission as being able “to provide unlimited, reliable, fixed wireless high-speed Internet access at affordable prices for homes and businesses located in the communities we serve.”
In Gonevoip’s review of Silo Wireless, we will take a look at the internet service and packages provided by Silo and see how it stacks up to Gonevoip’s recommended top internet service providers.
In Gonevoip's review of Silo Wireless Internet plans, we are impressed with Silo's openness about pricing. We did not have to search hard or scan the terms and conditions to find any hidden pricing. Everything is clearly laid out for the consumer to see. Maybe too much is put in front but rather have that than hidden in contracts!
While they don’t hide their pricing, one cannot deny that Silo Wireless’s prices are on the higher end and simply cannot compare with other Gonevoip’s Internet providers in terms of price. Having said that, if in your area Silo is one of the options you have, then it is well worth having a good look as they do offer some good plans.
