Honest people, good serviceI've had Silo for a few years and have found their service to be more reliable than any of the other rural providers I've tried before. Also their staff is friendly and always willing to go the extra mile when a problem does crop up.

Silo wireless, not greatCountless outages, they tend to hang up on you while waiting to talk to a representitive. If you're late with a payment by 2 days they will harass you but when they have 17 outages in 1 month they brush off your concerns and money wasted on having only half the month of internet.
Basically unreliable service and bad customer support. Go with different company.

Silo Wireless is a telecommunications company which was founded in 2007. Silo Wireless provides wireless high-speed internet in Ontario, with their main focal points being Brant, Norfolk, and Oxford counties. Silo headquarters are in Brantford, Ontario.
Silo’s website lists their primary mission as being able “to provide unlimited, reliable, fixed wireless high-speed Internet access at affordable prices for homes and businesses located in the communities we serve.”
In Gonevoip’s review of Silo Wireless, we will take a look at the internet service and packages provided by Silo and see how it stacks up to Gonevoip’s recommended top internet service providers.
Silo Wireless has a few unlimited wireless internet packages. All of their packages are on a two-year contract and include a $3.75 monthly license recovery fee. In addition, the installation fee is $149.99 regardless of which package is chosen.
The five unlimited plans offered are the Max 1 package, the Max 2 package, the Max 3 package, the Gold package, and the Platinum package.
The package that is the cheapest option available starts at $30 per month. Included in that price is download speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps and a modest usage of 30 GB.
The next package is the package we would recommend as Silo Wireless’s best package. It checks in at $40 per month but offers download speeds of 10 to 25 Mbps and usage of 40 GB.
Silo also has Max 1, the Max 2, the Max 3, Max 4 and Max 5 packages which are for people who crave faster speeds and unlimited usage.
The Max 1 is $59.99 per month and features download speeds of up to 2 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 750 Kbps. The Max 2 is $69.99 but the download speeds are doubled to 4 Mbps and the upload speeds are increased to up to 1 Mbps. With the Max 3 increases the price dramatically to a whopping $89.99 per month but has download speeds of up to 6 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 2 Mbps. In Max 4, we start reaching new levels, with speeds of 10 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload but costing $99 a month. Finally, the almighty Max 5; with download speeds between 10 to 25 Mbps and uploads of 3 Mbps with a cost of $124.99 a month.
In Gonevoip's review of Silo Wireless Internet plans, we are impressed with Silo's openness about pricing. We did not have to search hard or scan the terms and conditions to find any hidden pricing. Everything is clearly laid out for the consumer to see. Maybe too much is put in front but rather have that than hidden in contracts!
While they don’t hide their pricing, one cannot deny that Silo Wireless’s prices are on the higher end and simply cannot compare with other Gonevoip’s Internet providers in terms of price. Having said that, if in your area Silo is one of the options you have, then is well worth having a good look as they do offer some good plans.
