Portal Network Co is a telecommunications company that was founded very recently in 2014. For the lack of experience they have under their built they make up for with an outlook that outreaches for the future. Portal Network Co specializes in helping startup businesses with the footing they need for all of their telecommunication needs. They provide business phone services, business internet as well as residential phone services. Their specialities lie in business growth, Cloud PBX, data solutions, PBX hosting and many other exciting things. Let us now review one of the Portal Network Co’s business phone plans to grasp a better picture of their services.
With the hosted PBX platform which Portal Network Co offers and is quite frankly all the range in the business industry today, the added incentive of being on the same network no matter where you are in the world is an added incentive. A user can have the same extension in France as he or she would have had in Canada. The hosted PBX plan that Portal Network Co offers is priced at $29.95 per user – which is quite remarkable, to say the least. RingCentral is one of the most prominent business VoIP providers in Canada and they offer a plan that incorporates unlimited calling, faxing and texting throughout Canada and the States for a meagre $19.99 per user.
We would definitely give Portal Network Co the upper hand if it weren’t for the lack of information about the specifics of this plan. How many minutes would each user be allotted or would it be accounted for as a whole, would other services such as fax, voicemail and call waiting to be available with this plan? These questions and many more are left unanswered, however, we do strongly believe that Portal Network Co has taken a strong initiative with their competitive pricing.
Portal Network Co does make the claim that they offer features inclusive to this plan which the “other guys” don’t. However, this claim is not backed up on their website in any meaningful way. Furthermore, a network access charge of $30.00 is implemented regardless of the number of users allotted for the service. For someone who has less than 4 users, this would seem impractical.
Portal Network Co hit the nail on the head with the pricing structure they have implemented, however, they lack information on their website which is intrinsic to making a calculated and smart decision for any business. Adding key pieces of information would make their plan seem more genuine rather than just claiming that they provide all the features that no one else provides.
