Pathway Communications was established in 1995. As with many other Canadian Providers, I started as an Internet Service Provider and eventually expanding to VOIP services. Pathway also offers Long Distance services(calling card) under the brand Smartreach. Pathway is based in Markham, ON.
In the VoIP Phone offer Pathway Communications bundles a Linksys ATA and a basic cordless phone. Pathway plans are on the expensive side, in terms of the features has the just basics.
While they offer a 30-day money-back guarantee potential subscribers needs to look careful at the terms of service as there are some of the most expensive fees we've seen attached with conditions (such as return the equipment in the same box with the bar codes intact within 10-days of the date of the service disconnection) that are almost impossible to achieve.
With that said we believe Pathway Communications VOIP offering to be overpriced, lacking features and ultimately Phone Power's or AXVoice do offer more features and services without the premium price tag.
