Amazingly Outstanding Customer Service!The owner and employees at Odynet Inc in London, ON (since 1994, I understand) are certainly proficient at providing their customers with exceptional service! Understanding, very patient, kind, and courteous is what I've experienced to date, from pre-customer questions being answered to walking me through (step-by-step installation) until everything was running perfectly well, not to mention a $50 savings per month by switching over from a 'big' provider! They bent over backwards to make sure that my transition was as smooth as it could possibly be.As a newer customer, referred by a family member who is a very happy long-time Odynet customer, I am extremely pleased to share that my experiences with this company - through their superb outstanding customer service - has me looking forward to being a long-time customer with them. I only wish I had known about Odynet sooner! So, I'm only too happy to share this with others, giving a great referral so that possible 'let's switch providers' prospects can see that there are customers, like me, who say "Absolutely! I recommend Odynet 100%!! :) What do you have to lose except frustrations, higher bills, and poor customer solutions coming from other companies out there? Review from Canadianisp.caStay away from this ISP! They are happy enough to take your money for set up, but never really get a tech out to you. Further, they will make false claims that the Bell technician was there, thereby charging you for a service you are not receiving. Transparency is completely lacking, in addition to no customer service outside business hours. If you have an issue be prepared to wait a very long time.Scam and would urge others to stay away. |

Review from Canadianisp.caOdynet has been reliable for two years, with the full speed all the time. There was a small technical problem, but not serious and they did try to fix it. You actually talk to the techies, not a call centre. They are "people of few words", not chatty, but practical. Their VoIP works excellently, reliably, clearer than a Bell line. Certainly recommend them. |

Review from Canadianisp.caI_ve been with Odynet since 2002 after running away from Bell Sympatico_s evolving version of "the internet".Odynet_s service has always been solid and reliable. They_ve been responsive to any problems, there haven_t been many of them and i think all but one was related to me or my hardware. Over the years speeds have improved and for the past few years I_ve been lucky enough to be within range of their Res10/250 service in London_s core. And yes I recommend them to friends and get to say "I told you so" to the ones that don_t listen. |

Odynet offers telecommunications services including residential and business high-speed internet in Ontario and Quebec. The company website states Odynet has been providing internet services to Ontario and Quebec since 1994, and Odynet states they were one of the original providers of high-speed DSL internet connections, since their inception in 1998.
Their company headquarters are in London, Ontario. While their primary data center is in London, they have core routing/switching at 151 Front Street, Toronto.
Odynet states they offer DSL, cable and fiber connections, while they also handle domain and website hosting.

All plans are unlimited, except the DSL 6 Lite. If you rent a modem through Odynet, they also charge you a $25 deposit fee, which you get back once you return the modem, which may never happen if you are satisfied with the service and keep it for the rest of your life.
In concluding GoneVoIP's review of Odynet, we are impressed with their base prices but are a bit turned off by their numerous extra fees such as dry loop fees, modem pricing, or charging extra to upgrade to unlimited. At first glance, the pricing seems reasonable, but you will have to sit down with a calculator to determine what the final costs will be. We do like that the company has a long tenure of providing internet to Ontario and Quebec. Longevity in this business is important, but the price is always the bottom line.
