Nexusds is a telecommunications provider whose motto is “one-stop shopping” Nexusds was founded in May of 1992 and originally was based out of Brampton, Ontario. Currently, they are based in Scarborough, Ontario.

In our review of Nexusds, we will take a look at what internet service packages they offer and see how their pricing and features compare with Gonevoip’s top three internet service providers.

Nexusds offers internet services such as DSL, dial-up (which they offer to “almost any country in the world”), and dedicated Fibre/T1/T3/ISDN. That is what the website states but once we go through their entire website, we find only one promotional offer for DSL, as well as an unlimited dial-up internet offer (with 56k speeds) for $10.

Nexusds offers their main promotional package of high-speed internet at $35 per month. Included in this offer are download speeds of up to 6 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 800 Kbps. There are no bandwidth limits and no contracts to sign. The installation cost checks in for a one-time fee of $85.Modem and firewall are included, as well as 1 line filter. An Ethernet network card is required and if you don’t have one, one can be purchased for an additional $35.

Nexusds is an interesting company. Based on their single promotional package, they have reasonable pricing which should be considered. But their website looks like it was designed when the company was founded and has never changed since. It is impossible to reach their ‘terms of use’ page because the link is inaccessible because of the poor design. There may be more internet packages available, but again the links are inaccessible.

In our review of Nexusds, we simply cannot recommend this company because their website is set up so poorly with such little information available, we simply cannot be sure of anything beyond their basic $35 DSL promotion (which is a landing page ad and separate from the website). We do like that their package is unlimited bandwidth with the standard download and upload speeds. But what about everything else? Are there additional fees or hidden costs?

We simply cannot be sure because we cannot access their terms and conditions. From what we do know, their pricing is comparable to Gonevoip’s top three internet service providers. But it is hard for us to recommend them with so little information. We hope they can update their website and make it easier for customers to know what they are getting themselves into.
