Mustang Technologies has won over many customers since 1994 by providing them with quality service at excellent costs. They offer a variety of services that span from internet services, VoIP solutions, and bundles of both these services. Mustang Technologies sets itself apart from the competition with the wide variety of appealing bundle packages they have. Let us now review one of Mustang Technologies flagship VoIP plans for residential users!

Mustang Technologies offers a Canada wide plan for the price tag of $19.99 per month. The pricing on this plan is entirely too expensive when compared with other prominent VoIP providers. Mustang Technologies also mentions that this plan is truly unlimited, and fortunately enough we saw no mention of a cap being implemented in their terms and conditions. However, if we were to compare the pricing of this plan to the pricing that PhonePower implements for its unlimited North America wide plan which is $5.99 per month, we can safely assume that Mustang Technologies certainly has not done its research on its current competition.

Sadly another disappointing aspect we noticed about Mustang Technologies’ VoIP service was the fact that they didn’t offer any standardized fax services inclusive to the plan, while other providers offer fax to email services fully inclusive to their VoIP plans. However, Mustang Technologies made up for this shortcoming with the inclusion of a fully functional smartphone app. Smartphone integration is very important in today’s day and age considering the overwhelming majority of customers who own and use smartphones. Mustang Technologies does, however, offer a wide variety of basic call features that are crucial to any VoIP service!

We also were disappointed to notice there was no comprehensive list of international rates provided by Mustang Technologies. Whether or not Mustang Technologies implements a reasonable fee for their international calling will remain a mystery until they provide customers with a list of these rates, and of course, no one likes being surprised.

Mustang Technologies offered a great internet plan, but their VoIP plan doesn’t follow in such footsteps, unfortunately. The pricing on this plan needs to be adjusted heavily not only to accommodate the financial needs of customers but to also offer a more competitive approach to the world of telecommunications.
