Best provider I've ever hadI've been with them for a few years now, and I've had seemingly everyone in this city, Bell, Rogers, Cogeco, ACN etc.
They all seem to have their pluses and minuses, except Bell and Cogeco, mostly negatives with them.
MNSI on the other hand has been amazing.
I do wish I could get faster speeds and their Fibre is right across the street, but I can't get it for another year they tell me.
Unlike some people who just want to blame everyone else for their issues, I don't. I know what I can fix and what I can't, so I plug my modem and router into a UPS along with my computer and phone.
It's great having internet over wifi when the power goes out. Also, tech support told me last week that my modem has been in sync for over 1 year, 395 days to be exact at that time.
Apparently my modem is showing capable of 14 meg speeds, but it's not a product that MNSi can sell me. I can get that if I go back to Bell, but I'm never going back to them again!
10/10, customer service is very helpful, tech support is awesome, can't wait for Fibre!

Love MNSIMnsi is a great local company with great service from people who live and work in our area. Fair pricing without rising prices like other internet providers. Recommend to all my family and friends.

Absolute garbageThere are no redeeming qualities about this company. We pay for 7 mbps down and 1 mbps up. we get 0.34 down and 0.02 up. And on an average of about 2000 ping, its fairly difficult to even get onto the internet. And the charge for it all? Almost $50 a month. Every time we've called them, we get a "that's not our fault" or "well you see that's normal". If you're gonna serve out internet, you better be willing and able to do two things. One, give people what they pay for, and two, if you cant give them what they pay for, upgrade your ... netcode so you CAN deliver customer service. Literally they provide high end internet four houses away from me, but they "cant" to my location. Stop making excuses guys, own up to your mistakes, and fix your errors. Never get ANYTHING from MNSi unless they either fix themselves or you enjoy being tortured.

I've been with mnsi now for about 2 years, and I was looking up company reviews and ran into this site. Dude. You're clueless.
You pay for UP TO 7Mbps.
Clearly you don't understand how DSL works..
I just checked on their site
Using DSL technology, reach download speeds up to 7 Mbps and upload up to 1 Mbps.
Up To, Up To.
7 is the max, who knows what the lowest is.
And it doesn't matter what's available a few houses away. Look at me, I have 6 meg DSL with them, and ACROSS THE STREET they have Fibre, but I can't get it for about another year.
Netcode also has nothing to do with how service gets to your house.
Every time I've had to call them for tech support issues, they've been able to tell me exactly what speed my modem is getting.
And why would you stay and complain? They don't have contracts you can cancel at any time!
I don't understand you people, making up stuff and flat out lying.

... serviceThey have exactly 1 redeeming quality: they aren't bell, or cogeco. On every other point you can expect sub-par service, rude customer service, and dropped connections.
