always great serviceI've been with MNSI for a long time, and have always received excellent service! I just had fiber installed, and I couldn't believe how quickly they completed the job. Everything is working great. My internet speed wasn't bad without fiber, but it definitely has improved. I waited oh so patiently for them to get fiber in my neighbourhood, and I'm glad I did. Now I have a great local company and great internet speed. Thanks MNSI for all that you do! Cheers! |

FrustratedWe were Bell customers for many years. We decided to try the fibre from MNSI because it was reasonably priced. We had to purchase a router. The MNSI tech said our ASUS Blue Cave router was sufficient. When MNSI installed their equipment,they put it in the ba ... t far corner along with our router.When Bell installed their modem it was in the middle of our house.Today we have trouble getting internet upstairs and on our patio. We never had that issue with Bell. I would think if the tech guy put a wire on the router to reach the middle of the house , we would have no problems with the internet. Another big issue is when using our amazon fire stick, we cannot access our prepaid apps because MNSI is not on the internet provider list with all the other internet providers. When I mentioned this to the MNSI tech, he said he had no idea if or when MNSI would be on that list. I blame myself for not asking if they were on the internet provider list before I purchased MNSI. Looking forward to a quick response, Thank you in advanceReply from: Trainshobby February 14, 2021 Why are you posting this here in hopes of a reply? They have a 24/7 tech support dept. and customer service is open 5 days a week during the pandemic. Reply from: Greg Farnham September 7, 2020 I posted our review about 5 weeks ago and still haven't heard a response from MNSI. I guess you don't our business and I certainly don't want a company that doesn't respond to their customers. I guess I'll wait one more week for your response. |

Best provider I\'ve ever hadI've been with them for a few years now, and I've had seemingly everyone in this city, Bell, Rogers, Cogeco, ACN etc.They all seem to have their pluses and minuses, except Bell and Cogeco, mostly negatives with them. MNSI on the other hand has been amazing. I do wish I could get faster speeds and their Fibre is right across the street, but I can't get it for another year they tell me. Unlike some people who just want to blame everyone else for their issues, I don't. I know what I can fix and what I can't, so I plug my modem and router into a UPS along with my computer and phone. It's great having internet over wifi when the power goes out. Also, tech support told me last week that my modem has been in sync for over 1 year, 395 days to be exact at that time. Apparently my modem is showing capable of 14 meg speeds, but it's not a product that MNSi can sell me. I can get that if I go back to Bell, but I'm never going back to them again! 10/10, customer service is very helpful, tech support is awesome, can't wait for Fibre! |

MNSi internet was founded two decades ago back in September of 1995, giving them veteran status in the world of telecommunications. MNSi has a vibrant website with most of the necessary information in big block letters which are easy to reach, and not many links need to be opened.
This is admirable considering how some providers make it hard to reach the pricing page of their internet plans! MNSi specifically provides services in VoIP and internet solutions only and has been doing it now for over 20 years.
MNSi headquarters is located in 3363 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON, N8W 1H4, Canada.
Whether or not the pricing and quality of the internet plans that MNSi has to offer are up to par in today’s world, is a question Gonevoip will now review!
MNSi has Fibre plans with unlimited usage and with the following characteristics;
Plan | Speeds | Unlimited Internet |
Fibre 30 | 30/30 | $55.00 |
Fibre 60 Popular | 60/60 | $65.00 |
Fibre 250 New | 250/250 | $70.00 |
Fibre 500 | 500/500 | $75.00 |
Fibre 1000 Fastest | 1000/750 | $80.00 |
The Fiber plans are only available in certain areas of Windsor, so you better check with MNSi first if there is the service for your area.
For the DSL internet plans, Gonevoip found MNSi implements overage charges, as well, which in all honesty are a bit high! The overage rate is $1 dollar per GB! That is four times higher than what the average rate for overage charges is! Another upsetting fact about this specific plan is that there is no option to have it upgraded to an unlimited bandwidth rate; hence customers would have to opt into much more expensive plans to meet their bandwidth needs!
MNSi may not be the provider that you are looking for in any real sense; however, there are many more viable options out there. MNSi is charging far too much money for their plan, as well as the overage charge. The installation fee is waived, however, the activation fee of $50.00 is still applied, and it doesn’t count as a deposit!
At the end of the day, MNSi is all a very competitive ISP and shouldn’t be given much thought if you are in the area, more so when comparing with other providers!
