ITP VoIP Reviews and Plans

ITP VoIP is HQ in New York, US. The company was established in 2006. ITP has the characteristic of offering bundles of premium features with a relatively low monthly price. However, it shall be noted the monthly price is higher than those we can see for Phone Power or VoIP Much, and the service doesn't provide some of the most advanced features.

Not long ago ITP released an integrated Smartphone app, without any additional fee. Similar to the desktop app; there is no more an additional monthly fee.  

At the moment ITP Home Phone does not support BYOD. They do however provide a free ATA and free number porting in a contract less service.  A nice feature offered as standard is the block list, in where one can configure phone numbers for which calls will be rejected - ideal to deter unwanted calls. Also available is Voicemail to Email, which will allow to pick up voicemails from your Smartphone or desktop wherever you may happen to be.  As stated earlier there is also the ability to add virtual numbers or fax support but all are an extra monthly fee(s).

ITP VoIP international calling prices are typically better than those of the traditional telecom giants - but are pricier than those offered by either 1-VoIP, VoIP Much or Phone Power. In other words, if international calling is on top of your needs, you'll be better off looking elsewhere.

Overall GoneVoIP considers ITP Home Phone an interesting alternative. Certainly very popular in the USA. Though we find ITP plans to be overpriced, plus these being in US dollars it can get tricky when the loonie dives. Factor too ITP lacks good Canadian support and logistics. May have lost its edge in terms of features - simply put quantity doesn't equal quality and the lack of trendy features it all makes it lost the appeal to Canadian consumers.
