Henri Reviews and Plans

Henri is an independent telecommunications service provider, with Head-Office in Victoria-Ville, Quebec. Henri focuses on servicing francophone Quebec, this is derived from the fact their website is only in French.

With that said, now GoneVoIP will review Henri Home Phone. In essence is very basic and simplistic, though taxed to the maximum with the add-on fees. 

The single plan from Henri is called Residential Telephony and it costs $19.99 per month. It comes with some basic features such as:

• Voicemail
• Voicemail to Email
• Call Waiting
• Call Display
• 3-Way Calling
• Call Forwarding

The standard plan does not include any long-distance calling. The cost per minute to call anywhere in Canada or the USA is $0.04 which makes Henri Home Phone long-distance rates fairly expensive. You could opt for an unlimited plan that will cover Canada/USA calling for $10 extra a month. Something else to be said about Henri Home Phone, in the terms of service Henri states that using another long-distance provider is not permitted. So if you want to shop for better rates and have a Henri telephone then you are out of luck, or you may want to switch provider for someone more permissive.

You can add some other features, such as having virtual fax support for another $15 extra per month. 

In terms of the ATA, you have the rental choice at $3.95 per month or buy it from Henri for $89.95.

In all, GoneVoIP finds the Henri Telephone as an expensive, restrictive and limited plan. Simply put there are more options, such as VoIP Much Home Phone or netTALK CONNECT that are cheaper, less restrictive and with wider plan inclusions.
