Eyesurf Reviews and Plans

Very little is known about the history of Eyesurf considering there isn’t anything mentioned about it on their website. Furthermore, they aren’t very in tune with social media as well. Their Facebook page informed us that they are located in Kitchener, Ontario. Eyesurf offers telephone and internet services for residential and business users. However, they provided bundled plans only to residential users.  Eyesurf prides itself on providing unlimited plans to users who require unhindered access to the internet. They also boast about not having to force customers into contracts or surprise them with hidden fees. GoneVoIP will now put Eyesurf to the test, and review the home phone plans available to see if they are worth the talk, no pound intended.

Eyesurf offers an unlimited Canada wide plan to its customers for a cost of only $10 per month. The pricing on this plan is not that bad when compared to other providers, however, it can definitely be improved upon. Eyesurf also offers an unlimited North America wide plan which costs a total of $15 per month if bundled with an internet plan. Otherwise is $20 per month. However, if we were to focus on the standalone North America Home Phone package costing $20 per month, we can certainly compare it to another prominent provider such as PhonePower. PhonePower offers an unlimited North America wide plan for only $7.40 per month which dwarfs the pricing of Eyesurf by a large margin.

Eyesurf boasts that they offer the best possible international calling rates when compared to other VoIP providers. Let us put this claim to the test by comparing their international calling rates to those of PhonePower. PhonePower allows its users to call Pakistan at an international calling rate of only 6.8 cents per minute, while Eyesurf charges customers 8.7 cents per minute. The claim made by Eyesurf doesn’t seem to be backed up to well by the rates they provide.

Only four features come included in this plan:

• call display,
• call waiting,
• call forwarding and
• voicemail

Other prominent VoIP providers offer many more features such as conference calling, call blocking, caller ID, and many more. Furthermore, there was no mention of a smartphone app that comes integrated with the service.

Eyesurf makes a lot of bold claims and certainly falls short in terms of pricing, quality service and the features they provide. A massive re-haul of both the plans need to be undertaken to make them viable against the competition that Eyesurf has to face in today’s day and age.
