Citione is a telecommunications provider which was founded in 2004.

Citione offers service in Ontario, Alberta, British Colombia and Quebec. Their headquarters are in Vancouver, British Columbia.

With this review, GoneVoip.ca will examine the business VOIP plans and features that Citione provides and see how they compare with other similar based plans including GoneVoip.ca’s top business VOIP providers in Canada.

Citione offers three main plans for a business to explore. All of them are offered on a month-to-month basis with no contracts required. They allow the consumer to cancel at any point and receive a refund for any unused time. Not many companies actually have that policy in place so kudos for that. We didn't see any additional setup costs.

The first option is the Basic one-channel plan which comes in at $15.95 per month. Included with this plan are fax machines, guest extensions, low volume extensions, HD video support, and up to one concurrent call.

The next plan is the Standard plan which is set up for three channels and costs $19.95 per month. This plan is listed as the best value on Citione’s website. Included with this plan are office extensions, HD voice support, HD video support, unlimited local calling and up to three concurrent calls.

Finally, the third and final plan is the five-channel Reception plan. This plan is nearly double the cost at $35.95 per month. This plan includes reception extensions, conference systems, high volume extensions, HD voice support, HD video support, unlimited local calling and up to five concurrent calls.

Citione has numerous features available for additional costs including conditional call forwarding, un-conditional call forwarding, voicemail, voicemail-to-email, caller ID, caller name ID, user presence, three-way calling, geographic call transfer, intercom and paging, number black listing, corporate directories, free local calling, high definition HD video, extension based contact directory, and a lot more. However it is not 100% clear which of these are included and which cost extra.

In our review of Citione, we thought that Citione has a lot going for it. Their plans are basic and for much smaller business operations; however, they are also easy to understand and laid out clearly. The pricing is fairly competitive with GoneVoip.ca’s top business VOIP providers but not all of the features were clear on whether they came with the package or at an additional cost. However if these features are all included in the price, then this company is definitely worth checking out.
