BasicISP is primarily a dial-up internet service provider. BasicISP is HQ is Mount Vernon, Ohio. 

Basic ISP serves all fifty US states, Puerto Rico and the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec. In the USA BasicISP has moved on to offering DSL services. Something that is yet to do in Canada.

They do offer 24/7 online support which is always a bonus in our book. They also state they do no tracking of online activity by its clients and therefore do not sell that information to third parties. 

Basic ISP offers a standard dial-up plan at $8.95 per month with no contracts. All prices are in USD. For that price, you do receive unlimited residential usage. However any accounts with “excessive dedicated usage activity patterns” are prohibited. The exact definition of excessive is not clearly stated.  

Shall be considered that due to the rapidly increasing costs of providing dial-up network access through landline based telephone systems, beginning April of 2016, BasicISP.net begun charging a USD $2.00 per month network access fee on top of the base monthly cost of the regular service.

For an additional $10.95 per month, you can purchase a dial-up accelerator, which is said to increase the download time of sites you visit by 19 times.

You are also able to travel with this plan since it is dial-up, and they are available in the majority of North America. You simply dial local access numbers depending on where you are traveling.

You receive free customer service for the first 30 days but after that point, you will be charged $4.95 for each call.

BasicISP is beginning to roll out DSL plans in the US which are 125 times faster than their dial-up services. However, this service is not available in Canada yet.

If dial-up is what you can get, then this company is worth comparing with other dial-up providers. But keep in mind these prices are in USD.
