ABC communications made its humble beginnings back in 1989 as a telephone system supplier to businesses. They then became one of the first providers to offer internet access in British Columbia. Ever since then ABC communications have been on the rise and have become one of the largest telecommunications providers in B.C. ABC communications offer a variety of services including internet services, cellular services, VoIP solutions, and web design. Considering where they started from ABC communications managed to branch out in many different directions. The headquarters of ABC communications can be found at 248 Reid StreetQuesnel, BC, Canada, V2J 2M2. Let us now review one of ABC communications prominent residential VoIP plans to see how they stand against the competition.

ABC communications have 3 different plans which all cater to various needs of the clientele. The first plan they offer comes with unlimited local calling, as well as a comprehensive list of features and basic voicemail. This plan totals out to $18.95 per month. The second plan we want to mention is the unlimited North America wide plan that ABC communications have to offer. This plan costs a total of $26.95 per month and has all of the features of the previous plan that was mentioned.  These plans are absolutely too expensive to really give much consideration. Yak offers a local unlimited calling plan for only $5 per month, while ABC communications are charging $21.95 per month. Furthermore, PhonePower offers customers an unlimited North America wide plan for only $5.99 per month, while ABC communications are charging $32.95 per month for their unlimited North America wide calling plan!

No mention was made of any international calling support, nor was any list of rates provided. The price at which they are offering their plans is certainly way too high and the act that international calling is not on their capacity list makes this service even more disappointing. One of the few upsides we noticed was that the features being provided are all-inclusive to this plan and there are many of them, including 3-way calling, call block, call display, call forwarding and many more. The downside of the features was the fact that there was no mention of any smartphone app by ABC communications.

All in all ABC communications are providing service that is just far too expensive and there are just way too many better options available to customers who have specific needs. ABC communications also hold out on key information such as the international calling rates that they wish to implement.
