I tried to get with Comwave and made an arrangement with them to test their services for one month and then to continue with their services for 3 years, with the initial six months "free". From the beginning they made a mistake because they sent my modem to an address to which I specifically had told them not to use. Anyway, after 15 days my modem arrived finally in my hands, mind you, even after I had paid an additional sum for express delivery to the address specified by me. They knew perfectly well when I was using the system or not, because before I used it they kept calling me to offer their advice on how to use it. From that I thought that they really were trying to help me, but later on I realized that all what they wanted was for me to get me started and consequently be within my probationary period. Twenty days after I had to forcibly move out of my place for health reasons, and I did not have a chance to advice the people from Comwave about my moving. They kept silent all the time, even when they knew I was not using their services at all. When things started to get better for me I called them and told them about the issue, and that I wanted an extension of my testing day for the remaining 10 days I had not have the chance to complete the testing. Initially I was using it with a Rogers HS connection, and the phone connection was disastrously bad but I had the hope that it was due to a poor internet connectivity, so I had planned to get a better internet connection at my new place. But the people at Comwave refused to concede that. I was never ever able to speak with a manager directly, and only the poorly untrained kids that work for them were answering my questions; they were very polite and always said "yes, Sir, I perfectly understand your concerns", but at the end, they also always said: "sorry, my manager says no". So, having realized the extremely poor customer service they provide, and feeling that my VOIP service with Comwave won't improve, I prefer to pay the penalty of 200 dollars they are asking me for cancelling earlier my services rather tan to continue using them. I strongly believe now that the services provided by them are just a scam, as stated by many others in this forum.
