ROGERS IS HORRIBLE

DO NOT EVER SIGN UP WITH ROGERS WIRELESS!!!!!!!!!!
I will not go into detail to explain the multitude of issue and mistakes Rogers has made over MANY many years on my account (most of which were false charges once actually being a privacy breach) or the hours of my life I will not get back after their "rogers run around" to make you give up. I do warn you all. Just don't bother with them as they do not care about their clients in any way and are less than willing to do what's right. I was literally told today to just pay my incorrect bill and that it would be right next time.
This giant corporation is also doing NOTHING for those who have been affected by covid as far as cellular clients go.
Shame on you Rogers.

worst company ever

I have a plan with Rogers for my business they made a deal with us and broke it overage for data was only supposed to cost an extra ten dollars a month however they have overcharged us. they do not care about the customer they only care about money. Do not waste your time with this company run far from it. Trust me you will only burn money if you go with Rogers they do not even have the best service in Canada there are many places were calls will drop.

Rogers, one of the telecom giants in Canada had introduced in the summer of 2013 the Rogers Wireless Home Phone. In a nutshell, this is using mobile technology. You'll need to purchase a unit, which consists of a modem, an adapter equipped with a mobile SIM Card that connects wirelessly to Rogers' wireless network and provides the means to have calls.

The entry price seems low if you are an existing Rogers (or Fido) customer (from $20 for an existing customer it goes to $30 to a non-customer) but one has to be aware that this does not include many of the VoIP features other providers, such as VoIP Much Home Phone do offer for free. It's also disappointing there is no integration with Smartphone and also there is no integration with Rogers One number; at least at this point.

We at GoneVoIP believe this is yet another proof of the inevitability the Home Phone market is moving towards VoIP; Rogers Wireless Home Phone is an alternative using a well-known, if not heated carrier but the truth is there are better and cheaper Home Phone plans, like those seen in GoneVoIPHome Phone page.

The features included are:

  • Enhanced Voicemail,
  • Call Display,
  • Call Forwarding1,
  • Call Waiting,
  • Conference Calling and Unlimited Canada-wide calling

Also shall be noted the international calls are quite more expensive; for example to India with Rogers Wireless Home Phone is $0.24 per minute and with G3Telecom are $0.01. There two international calling packages with Rogers Wireless Home Phone; both are @ $5 per month calling package for 500 minutes for calling Asia (though the countries included are only China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore)

How to turn on call my forwarding

Typically to forwards calls just pick up the phone and press *72 then enter the 10-digits of the phone number you want to forward calls to. You have to stay on the line for about 5 seconds. After that calls will be forwarded to the phone. To deactivate forwarding is a similar procedure, but using *73 code. Hope you have a great day! The GoneVoIP Team

How to file a complaint against a Provider

If you feel you have a valid complaint against your telecom provider, you are not alone. According to an article in the Financial Post complaint rates rose dramatically in 2017-2018 by a staggering 57%. In fact, the Commission for Complaints for Telecom-television Services (CCTS) reported even more startling numbers with a 75% increase in complaints between August 2017 and January 2018. Most issues revolve around non-disclosure and people finding that their contracts have been inaccurately outlined by provider representatives. GoneVoIP offers an
