Paid almost $1000 to buy install two fairly basic wifi-compatible (wireless) VOIP phones, which included the $300 installation fee. Ongoing contract is $40/month for two "seats," one at the front, one in my office. For a time the phones would spontaneously go straight to voicemail for a day or two straight, or they wouldn't ever go to voicemail (almost as bad as many of our people leave messages on weekends to cancel or change appointments), our first service call involved a man standing in our front desk space for hours (3 hours if memory serves), and me telling him twice to refrain from having personal conversations on his phone as he is directly disrupting my business. Another service person claiming to be higher up the chain started our first face to face conversation by telling me we are using up to large of a percentage of their service time for how small our business is. It seems he thinks that I don't value my own time, and that I was constantly asking for support for fun. After re-explaining everything to him, he called someone on the other end, told them it was all set up improperly and instructed them on how to fix it. Our service improved for some time, and lately it is going back to voicemail sporadically.
Another service person came to the clinic, and saw there is a blinking light on our router. He told my office manager that was the problem, and sent us an invoice for $600 to get our phones hardwired in. I explained I would rather trial this fix by hardwiring both phones in the same room, or even disconnecting one, to see if hardwiring would fix the issue. No response given to the recommendation, he just re-sent the invoice by email. This happened 3 times, despite me taking time to write back with another explanation. I chose this service because they guaranteed wireless connection, now I am being asked to pay another $600 to permanently wire it.

Today, I decided to switch to someone else, and needed to leave a thorough review, as I wish I had read something like it before signing up. Perhaps this will get updated if they handle it well from here (or don't.) As an integrative Medical Centre, we need our reputation to be strong. UnityConnected Solutions has directly damaged that reputation, as people can't understand why we can't get our phones to work. Frankly, neither can I.
