Between 6 and 11pm the connection is abysmal (less than 1/4 of what I pay for at best) to unusable (0 to 0.5mbps). Have been working with remote and on-site tech support for a couple months consistently with absolutely no sign of improvement in the evening.

I when I signed up a year ago I was informed that I had near perfect signal strength and my connection worked great for a number of months. Then started the problems, it took a few months of calling in and them telling me it_s fine before I realized that the problem is only ever at night. I spent about $400 on networking equipment and dozens of hours troubleshooting since I was lead to believe the problem was withing my house. Now, for some magical reason my signal strength is "the worst in the neighborhood" so everyone else_s connection "gets priority over my weak signal". Their resolution is always the same "we made some tweaks, does it seem better now?" - stop asking me and fix it!! If you actually monitored your network you wouldn_t have to ask me. If you actually monitored your network you would know that I have been having this issue for well over 8 months but I am sick of calling in for nothing. If you actually monitored your network I wouldn_t have to call in to get stuff resolved ever, I should simply be able to wait until the next day and find that the problem has been resolved.

- They are unwilling to address the problem - the problem only occurs from 6-11pm so running your tweaks and tests during the day when it works great is useless as we_ve seen.
- Service calls usually take 2 weeks to get someone out. Oh and they only come out between 8am-4pm to tell me I am getting advertised speeds. Of course I am, I tell you guys this in every email I send.
- Too many canned message responses and not actually replying to what was said or asked.
- "Our network administrators constantly monitor the network status to insure speeds and reliability." - Complete load of shit.

The good: Unlike my last provider, they are willing to cancel my contract without the cancellation fee since they can_t provide what I was sold.

What_s worse: I don_t have any better options. All of the competitors around here are just as bad. Xplornet... and "Eh!Tel" who_s owner has a very interesting past with a couple other wireless business ventures. Heck, even Netflash_s (?current?) owner can be found bashing other wireless companies in online public forums.
