I have been an AEI customer for 10 years. I remember they had horrible tech support back when I originally go hooked up and took a month to resolve issues. I recently requested a free update to a new higher speed package that included a free dryloop. What a nightmare! They left me without internet service for two weeks to switch from a dry loop to a wet loop (same physical line). I have problems and they made several schedule appointments (between 1pm-9pm) where the technician never showed. They were not interested in my complaint and hung-up when I tried to cancel the service. These people are horrible and my issues are still not resolved.
