True Speed is a telecommunications provider with a focus on both residential and business phone VoIP services as well as Internet options. The company’s motto is “Let’s Get Connected”.

True Speed has headquarters in Brockville, Ontario, Canada.

For this review, GoneVoip will look at True Speed’s Internet services and see how they stack up with GoneVoip’s Top Internet Providers in Canada.

True Speed has both Cable, DSL, FTTN and wireless Internet options available. Let’s start by looking at their cable options.

True Speed has three cable Internet packages available.

The TrueCable 15 is the most basic and inexpensive of their packages. This option comes in at $44.95 per month and includes download speeds of up to 15 MBPS and upload speeds of up to 2 MBPS. This package includes unlimited of data usage.  But if unlimited is not for you there are two options; with a usage allowance of 200 GB at $34.95 or with 400 GB allowance for $39.95 a month.

The TrueCable 40 contains a lot more punch than the TrueCable 15 with a substantial increase in download speeds of up to 40 MBPS and upload speeds of up to 10 MBPS. This comes with the same 200 GB data usage cap and checks in at $41.95 per month. To increase to unlimited with this package, you need to pay an additional $7 for a total of $48.95 a month.

The TrueCable 60 is the second most expensive at $54.95 per month. This package comes with download speeds of up to 60 MBPS and upload speeds of up to 10 MBPS. There is a 200 GB data usage cap and it can be increased to unlimited data usage with an additional $8 per month at $62.95 per month.

The TrueCable 120 is the newest and most expensive at $72.95 per month. This package comes with download speeds of up to 120 MBPS and upload speeds of up to 10 MBPS. There is a 200 GB data usage cap and it can be increased to unlimited data usage with an additional $9 per month at $81.95 per month.

There is one DSL package: The TrueDSL 6 which comes in at $25.95 per month and features download speeds of up to 6 MBPS and upload speeds of up to 800 KBPS with a usage cap of 200 GB.

There are five FTTN packages: The True FTTN 10, the True FTTN 15, the True FTTN 25, and The True FTTN 50. Each number represents the download speeds of each package. The FTTN’s begin at $27.95 for the FTTN 10 and go up to $46.95 for the FTTN 50. All come with 200 GB of data usage with options to increase to 400 GB or unlimited for additional monthly charges.

Finally, True Speed offers four wireless Internet options: The True LTE 2, the True LTE 5, the True LTE 10 and the True LTE 15. The wireless packages are, as expected, more expensive when compared to the others, with the True LTE 2 coming in at $59.95 with download speeds of up to 2 MBPS and upload speeds at 0.5 MBPS. This package comes with unlimited data usage with an. The True LTE 15 is $119.95 with the difference being download is 15 Mbps and upload is 2 Mbps with unlimited data usage.

The website lists installation being free with the signing of a two-year contract.

In our review of True Speed’s Internet services, we are impressed with their multitude of options. Whether you are looking for DSL, Cable, FTTN or Wireless, there is no shortage of packages to choose from. Their pricing is competitive and as such we recommend that you look into them when choosing your Internet Service Provider, but be sure to compare them with GoneVoip’s top three ISPs.
