Reply to:	Yak I had gotten yak phone a few weeks ago and could only get it to work if it was hooked up BEFORE my router. The connection running through the ATA as a router is the worst. It dropsyour signal, lags, and gives you slow speeds. EEvery time I hooked the ATA up after may router it wouldn't recognize the phone hooked up to it and I would have no service. After multiple phone calls to yak they offered no solution. I eventually had to go out and purchasea 1200AC gigabit router and it finally worked. Rhe router I was running was a dlink N router. I teied open porting it, turning on the DMZ option, and all the 500 times they had me reset everything ( which was all their technicians had to offer) all to no prevail. If you are going to get yak, just make sure you have a good router. If you cant get a good router go with nettalk, they are decently reliable.
