1. When I subscribed I asked if there is an contract. Firm answer: NO. In fact I've got a 3 years and 6 months contract.
2. Customer service is a nightmare. Ruthless is a sweet word.
3. They bought the company that provided me long distance and forced me to pay 3 times more long distance fees. In addition they refused me to register to another long distance provider. When I told them that this is against the law and I will complain to Ministry of Consumer Protection they matched my initial lost distance cost (even Bell respect this law)
4. Long distance is not working during holidays when servers are overloaded. If I use a third party provider by dialing an access number it is working fine.
5. When I enrolled they provided fax service and shortly the service was discontinued without informing me.
It conclusion if you are on a very tight budget it may worth the low cost, otherwise for just a few more $ you can afford a decent service. Hopefully cell phone providers will match soon the long distance access fees and land line service will became obsolete.
It is funny they will give me one month free for this review.
