i would not recommend it to anyone. aside from bad service, they don't explain it properly about the contract, and charge you long distance even if you didn't even talk to the person you are calling, just by dialing the long distance number, busy or just ringing you are charged for 1 minute long distance call already.
And for the home phone, reception is bad. and it has always a problem. I was expecting that my contract with them will end in April of 2011, but before that On October 2010 I called and changed the plan. they said its okey to change it but they didnt explain to me that by changing the plan they are also changing the contract to another 3 years. i asked clearly if i want to change to a month to month billing when can i do it it, they said call 30 days before the end of contract, i said thats going to be in April 2011, and the lady said yes mam. SO april 2011 i called and want to change it to month to month, but they said i cant i will have to pay for the remaining contract if i do that. So I got pissed, because they didnt tell me that, If i they just told me that then i just waited and finish the contract in April. Now I have to wait till October 2013 again. I asked if they can play the conversation since they said it was recorded. I am positive that this lady told me that i should call April 2011 if I want to change it to month to month. And when I cancel my landline they asked me to return the modem and they wont pay for the shipping and I will shoulder it, Which I think if they want the device back they should pay for the shipping, Just like telus they will send you a pre paid label and waybill where to send it back. I used the service for 5 years and i am not satisfied on those five years of the contract I want to cancel it but they will charge me for cancellation and has to pay the remaining years for the contract. And for those five years We seldom used our landline because of the bad reception. They will offer you free 1 month, 2 months or even 6 months free, just to sign a contract. But once you grab that free offer automatically you accepted the contract. So make sure if you want to accept their offer, first get the name of the customer rep., then make it clear that you want to try the six months free first then you will decide after you try their service, and make sure that when you try the offer, they are not suppose to sign you for a 3 year contract, they will trick you with questions.
