Wish that I had read some of the reviews before getting the installation done. You are wanting to try COMWAVE, good luck.
I doubt if I will stay with them even as long as a month, due to reading some of the reviews after the fact : oh good 'ole hindsight.
The staff in general is very helpful. That is not the problem.
The language accent probably gives cause to different problems (San Salvador I believe).
My experience with the company is this.
The wrong package was given.
I asked for among other things, voicemail. Somewhere before the end of the phone call, that option was dropped. I had mentioned it at least a couple of times during that initial phone call.
On the day of installation, no problem with the installer.
Waited 30 min and tried the phone. It said "WYFI" not connected.
Called the "1-800 #" and got that sorted out. Should have had the technician call me to verify the voicemail because it did not work (hindsight).
Called back, transferred a few more times (customer relations, technicians and supervisors, 3 hours on and off & talked with 5 or 6 different people, 3 or 4 phone calls in all initiated the day of installation). Customer relations had given me a 3 hour window for the installation. Good thing I booked off an additional 4 hours from work.
During the second call I discovered that I do not have the old phone # anymore (has been with the family for over 50 years and I am keeping it). Yes, that was asked for also, several times but it was not on record as such.
All in all, not impressed.
The reason that I had originally wanted to check elsewhere for phone and internet was price.
Saw the TV. ad for $49.95 for the package deal. Not true.
Basic is $82.88 and if you want voicemail it is $5.00 more.
Have not even checked on the 911 # yet. Some glitches there also apparently, although to be fair, with customer relations and staff being in another country, that can also cause rise to more issues.
Again, all in all not impressed.
No, very, very unimpressed.
For the company remarks to my comments, please don't use empty words that are going to fall onto deaf ears in any case.
Don't waste your time.
