Megawire is a company that was very recently founded and have gained great popularity in the span of a very short time. Megawire offers wireless internet, DSL and cable internet, as well as other cabling solutions for other situations such as home security, home theatre systems or networks. Megawire offers all of the pricing of their plans on one concise page, making it easier for customers to easily browse through any of the plans with the utmost of ease. The headquarters of Megawire can be found at 3 Woolwich Street, Breslau, Ontario, N0B 1M0, Canada.

Let us now review one of Megawires basic residential plans to get a better understanding of their services!

Megawire offers a basic residential plan for home users which they call the DSL 6. This plan comes with download speeds of up to 6 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 800 kbps and is offered on an unlimited bandwidth usage. The pricing on this plan is at $29.95 per month, which is phenomenal. Megawire has certainly done its research in finding out the lowest prices being offered for such a plan. WorldLine is known for having one of the most inexpensive plans, and it too is a 6 Mbps plan with unlimited bandwidth usage for only $29.95 per month. Megawire is certainly a provider to look out for when on the hunt for a reliable ISP. The added bonus is that this plan is offered on a non-contractual basis meaning customers don’t have to feel bound to anything when opting for such low costing service.

The additional fees being implemented by Megawire are quite standard, except for the activation and setup fees which total out to a whopping $189.99 per month. This can certainly be worked on considering customers don’t appreciate paying so much money upfront! The dry loop fees are a tad bit overpriced at $15.00 per month while the average is $10.00. Adding 25 M of personal web space would cost an additional $10.00 a month. The pricing on these added features are a bit high, but the adequate pricing on the plan more than makes up for this!

Megawire is a telecommunications business that has certainly done its research before jumping into the fray. The pricing on their plan is close to unbeatable, and they offer comprehensive customer support for any clients in need of a quick fix. The only thing we believe Megawire can certainly work on is the pricing on their additional charges such as the dry loop fees and the activation fees!
