Very Impressed

Comwave seemed better than Rogers until I read the reviews online. Looked into other VOIP providers and 1-VOIP really got me with their low price, all included and no contract. As long as prices dont go up, they really have the best offer available. Good good service.

Are they still in business?

I tried going to their site, using 3 different web browsers, and the 1-VOIP web site couldn't be reached.

Excellent service and price

I tried almost every standard phone company (Bell, Rogers) and many VOIP ones between 2006 to 2008. When I came back to Canada, I tried YAK and I was unhappy with its service. Finally, in 2016, I discovered 1-VOIP and I have been a HAPPY customer since then: reliable, excellent customer service, and very affordable. I recommend it with my eyes closed !!!!!!!!!

I have Bell Fibe with Bell Home Phone. Can I replace with I-VOIP and keep same number. Secondly do you have international calling rates for the United Kingdom. Thx.

Hi Andrew, technically it is possible to move existing numbers. In Canada, that is allowed by law. Sometimes particular area codes, those in old or remote locations may not be possible, mind you that is because either Bell or Telus (typically happens more often with these two) have not upgraded their network to support number portability. In any event, number portability is not instantaneous, it takes about 10 days to complete. You can check on 1-voip site if the number is portable or not. Their UK long distance rates are listed on 1-voip.com/international-rates.php Happy New Year! The GoneVOIP Team

2016 The Year in Review

It is that magical time of the year when one can look back at the year from the rearview mirror. We started 2016 with a netTALK & Iristel dispute that left thousands of Canadian customers stranded. Then later in the year, the CRTC mandated a skinny TV package,  for $25. In theory, sounds nice, in practicality impact of such a policy is unknown and may be able to measure in a couple of years. CCTS reported Telecom complaints were down
