Do not recommend for company with Call Centre

We are a midsize company with a small call center and were sold the BroadConnect hosted solution complete with reporting services. After making it through a very long 3 year contract with BroadConnect, I have have very little that is positive to say about this company. From day one we struggled with call quality and functionality. For a midsize company like ourselves the hosted system they provide is way too locked down to administer effectively and they never were able to provide all the functionality that was promised during the sale of the system. Their helpdesk is not very helpful as on many occasions my network admin knew more about networking than their technicians.

At the end of the day while the price is great, the hassles and lack of accountability from this company is not worth the trouble.

In October 2005, BroadConnect Telecom entered the Canadian Telecommunications market and brought with it one of the first Hosted-PBX services in Canada.  With the inaugural office opening in Toronto Ontario, over the course of 6 months, BroadConnect Telecom opened branches across Canada in 5 subsequent Provence’s to satisfy and facilitate consumer consumption in this needed space. With BroadConnect’s unrivaled success in the Canadian Telecom space, an American entry was imminent. In 2012, BroadConnect Telecom officially expanded operations south of the border, in the United States. The American headquarters is presently located in Amherst New York.

BroadConnect’s suite of hosted-PBX features has received a lot of attention, providing top of the line video conferencing, remote office services (allowing employees to not be tethered to a desk to receive their communications), and an in-depth and versatile web-based portal for managing every aspect of your PBX and its features.

With more of a decade of experience, BroadConnect maintains its position as a North American leader, one of the most secure and reliable and one of the most trusted Hosted-PBX solution for business large and small alike. While being a longstanding Business Phone VoIP provider, BroadConnect also offers an award-winning SIP Trunking service for businesses wishing to maintain their own PBX system on-premises while keeping costs low.

Along with BroadConnect’s Hosted-PBX and SIP Trunking solutions, BroadConnect formulated VoIP-I (Voice over the Private Internet). This is a telecommunications delivery method that is now synonymous with industry set standards of quality and security. VoIP-I offers a connection that is not shared with other subscribers as well as a process that employs multiple SBC’s.  VoIP-I also contains all the benefits of VoIP and having a hosted PBX provider watching over your system making sure nothing goes wrong.

BroadConnect’s team of technicians are available around the clock to make sure you maintain 99.999% uptime and offer any assistance possible on PBXs that are not directly managed by us (SIP services).  Combine this with outstanding customer testimonials and a price point that will meet any business needs, BroadConnect is definitely something to get excited about, if you’re in the market for a new business phone system.  If you haven’t seen what the entire buzz is about, now is the time to find out.

Can I keep current phone number?

Yep, usually that is not an issue - you'll have to fill out a form to transfer your existing number(s) and then could take a couple of weeks or so to get transferred. Meantime you'll get a temporary number. Hope this helps!

Why Use SIP Trunking

As the telecommunications market continues to develop, the use of voice over internet protocol (VoIP) access and session initiation protocol (SIP) trunking services continue to be favored.  Their modern, unified communications (UC) platforms offer capabilities and solutions that legacy telecommunications services cannot match.
